How to Make Colourful Unicorn Fluffy Slime in 2021

I was obsessed with unicorns when I was in 5th grade. In my class were most girls. So I wasn't surprised if unicorns made their return a few years ago (and I mean, how could unicorns ever get out of style?!). This fluffy unicorn slime is like a gift to my fifth grade.

You want to make this slime unicorn, because you have to make five colors. Every color you make is individual.

There is a lot of kneading, tearing and extending to make those 5 colors to those who want sensory activity for their kids that promote proprioceptive input (heavy job). This is a great way to get into the heavy work that helps children to regulate themselves.

Slime Ingredients:

• 4 oz. (1/2 cup) Elmer’s white school glue
• 1/2 cup shaving cream
• 1/2 cup foaming hand wash
• 1/2 tsp. corn starch
• 1/2 tsp. body lotion
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 3/4 Tbsp. contact solution
• candy colour or food colouring (yellow, pink, purple, and teal)
• glitter (yellow, pink, purple, teal, and iridescent)

Homemade Fluffy Slime Recipe:

Make Glue Mixture

Empty the white glue bottle into a blender – just let it sit up and go! Add water and baked soda, continually stirring while the rest of the slime is applied. These ingredients form the basis of the slime, so make sure that this mixture is mixed before adding the cream for shaving.

Make It Fluffy

Ask how to fluffy slime?? It begins with cream rashing! Measure three cups of cream in the bowl and apply to the adhesive mixture; we have used a straight, scentless, white cream to shave. It can be difficult to achieve accurate measurements, so we recommend that we err on a side of more cream than less. You can spray a few more tablespoons in a bowl if the three cups do not add enough fluff. Remove together the mixture of glue and massage the cream until it looks like marshmallows and feels melted. Add the contact solution when well combined

Add Color

It's time to give your slime a pretty color when you have achieved great slime consistency—or three! Divide the slime in three different bowls and choose the shades of the food. For the ideal unicorn look, we suggest pastel pink, purple and blue. Add the food in a drop or two and mix the slime with it. Add another drop and stir if this isn't quite enough pigment. Or mix the color with your hands in order to make more messy fun!

Swirl

Use your hands to pull each color of the fuzzy slime into a log shape until you've got three different colours. Put together the three colors and slightly twitch, so that they conform to each other. Twist to make the ultimate swirled slime recipe from unicorn. The more the DIY slime you play, the more the colors will be different. If you start holding on to your palms, just apply a small squeeze of contact solution to restore it.

Slime Troubleshooting:

I still recommend to use the glue of Slime Creators. I haven't had good results in the past by using less costly glues, so I've learned to stick to the tried and true.

I have protected you if you wonder how to patch slime so fluffy. The slime will thick with soda, but just a tiny bit will you want to apply and make changes as you pass.

You must read the ingredients on your slime solution to ensure that you obtain stretching slime, and make sure it contains boric sodium and boric acid.
