Slime Recipe to Make Unicorn Slime in 2021

Ever before, have you done homemade slime? It's pretty fun to do, indeed! If your children love slimming unicorns, they will fully love slimming unicorns. You can also tailor this unicorn slime to your favorite colors. We have chosen our favorite unicorn colors – rose, blue, and gold. But you could make it colored with rainbows or add lilac or green!

This unicorn slime kit consists of 3 distinct slime colors. This glitter slime process is by far the simplest and can be changed to produce any color! So, please adapt and make it as a unicorn as you want it as best you can.

Protection tips: Adults can just make a slime and handle all chemicals. Don't replace any of the ingredients in our slime recipes. If you have sensitive skin, wear gloves while playing with your slime. Always wash your hands before and after your use. If you notice any skin irritation, stop using it immediately. See the bottom of the post for more safety precautions before taking the slime.

Ingredients Needed to Make Unicorn Slime

  • 1 bottle of slime creator's glitter glue (6 oz)—we used pink, purple, and blue and repeated the recipe 3 times. Note: this is what we did with slime creator's glitter glue. Do not replace with other glue, as the make-up may not be the same and the recipe may not work.
  • Pink, Gold, and Blue Glitter – use a lot of glitter to achieve the same shiny effect. We like the glitter of this company. Biodegradable glitter can also be used.
  • 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
  • 1½ tablespoons of solution for contact lens. **Important: your brand of contact lens solution must include boric acid and sodium borate in the list of ingredients. This is what interacts with the glue to create the slime. Renu Fresh contains boric acid and borate sodium. Do not replace other brands. Check the packaging before you shop to make sure it has the right ingredients.
  • Water – apply up to 1/4 cup of water for a more stretchy sludge.

1. Get your slime ingredients in a bowl.
2. Pour the entire 6 oz. of Slime Creator's Glitter glue into the bowl.
3. Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and mix thoroughly.
4. Now add the glitter and continue to mix.
5. Slowly add a solution to your contact lens
6. Now mix until your slime is formed and begins to harden.

Take it out, knead, knead, knead. You might be surprised how much you need to knead to make a slime shape. It's going to be very sticky at this point. Especially if you've added some water. Keep kneading and stretching the slime, and it's going to get less sticky.

The activating ingredient in these kid-safe Slime Creator’s slime recipes is contact lens solution, but you need contact solution that lists boric acid as one of its ingredients.  It’s the boric acid that makes it possible to make slime without using Borax.

How Do You Play With Slime Creator’s Glue Slime?

Shapes it, stretches it, twists it! Squeeze it close, then let go and see as it gradually returns to a soft and squishy slime pillow. For extra fun, let the children explore the slime by giving cookie cutters and scissors. Then turn back, listen to the giggles and squeaks while your children find out what they can do to the beautiful things.
